Gottolengo is a municipality of about 5,000 inhabitants in the lowlands of Brescia area located between the provinces of Brescia, Cremona and Mantua with a predominantly agricultural vocation with about 1200 workers in the sector distributed over 130 companies of which at least 110 are livestock farms.

The most developed industrial sectors in Gottolengo are textiles, mechanics, electrical and food/dairy: famous are marronata (chestnut dessert made with chestnuts from Val Camonica) and the Brescia cotognata (apple-based dessert) as well as typical products of the production gottolenghese are potatoes and jam and pumpkin tortelli. The territory today is almost entirely dedicated to agriculture but there are also cattle, poultry and pig farms, beekeeping is also practiced.

In this territorial context, the Municipality of Gottolengo makes available the privately owned geenfield area  about 14,000 square meters of land area to be used for industrial/manufacturing activities with the possibility of creating a single lot or subdivision into smaller sized lots on requests and needs. The area is easily accessible: it is located one kilometer from the VIII via Brescia provincial road, 8 km from the railway station and 15 km respectively from the A21 motorway and Montichiari airport.
