The Baker Hughes plant in Talamona (Sondrio) , inside IET Business Industrial Energy Technology, is a Lombardy's centre of excellence for high technology components with unique technology capabilities like advanced manufacturing, robotics, coatings, automation and digitalization.
With an investment of approximately 14 million euros for the years 2019-2021, Talamona site is mainly focused on new production lines for the manufacturing of highly technological components for turbomachinery equipment.
As a next step, the company aims to achieve -50% of reduction of carbon emission within 2030 versus 2019 baseline, and to become carbon neutral within 2050.
