Lombardy Region at the MIPIM fair

Lombardy Region, together with Unioncamere Lombardia and Promos Italia-Invest in Lombardy, showcases the real estate development projects from the Municipalities of the Region.

The projects, ranging from the redevelopment of urban areas to the renovation of historic buildings, from the regeneration of former industrial buildings to the design of Student Housing and Senior Living, will be presented within the Italian collective to international investors attending MIPIM 2022.

Among the projects presented, relevant urban regeneration projects such as the "Mantova Hub" stand out as well as others of considerable historical importance, to be reserved for tourist accommodation facilities, such as the renovation of the "Ex Collegio Giglio" in the Municipality of Bellano (LC), the redevelopment of the area of the "castle" of Desenzano del Garda (BS), the "Grand Hotel San Pellegrino Terme" in the Municipality of San Pellegrino Terme (BG) and the reuse of historic houses that belonged to the noble Mantuan Gonzaga family: the "Villa del Serraglio", with an adjoining park overlooking the lake, in the Municipality of Toscolano Maderno (BS) and the "Villa Guerrieri Gonzaga" in the Municipality of Sustinente (MN). The latter envisages the creation of the "MASP (Mantua Agriculture Sustainability Project) project", a training, innovation and agricultural experimentation center for companies and associations.

In line with the emerging trends in real estate, senior and student housing projects will be presented by the Municipality of Sant’Alessio con Vialone (PV), where the creation of a "Biovillage for over 65" is foreseen (with the possibility of adding student residences), by the Municipality of Cisano Bergamasco with the "Domus Colombera", a multifunctional project with residences for the elderly, and the Municipality of Torre de 'Busi (BG) with the "Borgo Nuovo", to be used for residential purposes including Senior Housing.
