Discover moreAt the time of the Municipality’s application for the AttrACT Call for Proposals (2017–2018), the detailed development plan (Piano di Lottizzazione) for the Via Panizzardo areas had not yet been submitted. Consequently, the municipal areas eligible for inclusion in the application were those located within the development sector, excluding part of the ecological collection site area, since it did not fall within the boundaries of the development plans as defined at that time by the general urban planning instrument. Therefore, the surface area indicated in the call for proposals was established at 23,700 square meters. Following the final approval of Variant No. 2 to the PGT (Territorial Governance Plan), which became effective on 27 May 2020, and at the initiative of the Panizzardo Consortium, the Municipal Administration amended the general urban planning instrument by designating the ecological collection site area as a productive (industrial/commercial) area as well, and by introducing a logistics use exclusively for the southern portion of the sector (former PL3). After the approval of Variant No. 2 to the PGT, on 10 March 2022 the Panizzardo Consortium submitted a detailed development plan in amendment to the PGT. The proposal envisaged the merger of part of the PL2 areas with PL3 and provided for the relocation of the ecological collection site to the central green area of the sector. This provision made it possible to increase the territorial surface area of the municipal land included within the implementation plan (Piano Attuativo), which rose from 23,700 square meters to 36,263 cadastral square meters, in compliance with the provisions of the current PGT.
