Gruppo Beta invests over 1 million euros in Italy.
Gruppo Beta, a European leader in the production of tools for mechanical, industrial maintenance, and automotive repair professionals, is investing over 1 million euros in Italian manufacturing excellence.
With this new investment, Beta Utensili’s Lombard plants will be upgraded: the site in Castiglione d’Adda (Lodi) – where some of its most iconic products, such as T-handle wrenches and reversible ratchets, are manufactured – and the historic facility in Sovico (Monza-Brianza).
Specifically, €450,000 will be allocated to Castiglione d’Adda for the purchase of a new system that will allow in-house production of certain components of the torque wrench and the T-handle wrench with swivel socket.
An additional €680,000 will be allocated by the end of the year to the Sovico plant for a new automated station for plastic molding of the handles used in all hand-torque tools.
The new investment plan was announced during the event “Beta, the manufacturing engine between investments and Made in Italy,” held at the Castiglione d’Adda facility.
