Parco Tecnologico Padano (PTP) is a Science and Technology Park for the agri-food, bioeconomy and life sciences sectors.
In addition to research, PTP supports the creation of new companies through its Business Accelerator, Alimenta, and offers services to promote innovation.
PTP operates in synergy with the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Milan, and public and private research organizations co-located in Lodi, creating one of the main European Agri-Biotech Cluster.
PTP is a vibrant environment where young researchers, entrepreneurs and public institutions work together to promote, develop and support innovation and the settlement of new business ventures.
Since 2008, PTP has helped its 26 start-ups to collect 20 million Euros in risk capitaland 28 million Euros in scientific research projects.
PTP is also leading CAT.AL., the Lombardy Region Cluster that gathers more than 500 Hi-Tech Agri-Food companies.

JUNE 2014 - Alimenta2Talent 2014: Be part of it!
It is now open The call for proposal Alimenta2Talent 2014.
Alimenta2Talent is the international project developed by the City of Milan and Parco Tecnologico Padano Foundation, with the aim of fostering the creation of new enterprises in AgroFood, LifeSciences and BioEconomy sectors.
The call is open to business ideas coming from all over the world: if you are a researcher, an aspiring entrepreneur, or a manager already in the business, Parco Tecnologico Padano offers you a soft landing package, providing all competences, facilities and tools for the creation of working teams. You will find all the details in the call for proposals.
Alimenta2Talents aims also at boosting cross-contamination among ideas, enterprises and entrepreneurs, through the creation of mixed teams in order to ease the matching of experiences and competences.
You can submit your business ideas by filling the online form by the 13th of October. If your project is evaluated positively, you will have the opportunity to develop it in Alimenta Business Incubator. Alimenta will grant you access to Alimenta Accelerating Program, the technological accelerating service developed by Parco Tecnologico Padano: you will have a precious insight on how to turn your ideas into business. Winners will also be awarded a 6 months scholarship.
Last year we had five winning ideas that turned into startups: Nadal Consulting (Tunisia), Flora Conservation (Italy), The Algae Factory (The Netherlands), Orange Fiber (Italy), Coffee Reloaded (Taiwan).
OCTOBER 2013 - "FlowMetric, a US specialist in flow cytometry and cell sorting services, is expanding its global capacity with the launch of a European laboratory facility located at the Parco Tecnologico Padano in Lodi, Italy."
